Create your own dashboards
Custom Dashboards bring together multiple interactive charts on a single page for quick trend analysis.
1. Access the custom dashboards by going on "Audience Segmentation Tools" (light blue icon on the left-side bar).
2. Get started by clicking "Add Dashboard".
In "My Dashboards", you can see ones you've already created and the ones shared across your company.
3. Fill this out your custom dashboard detail.
"Survey" refers to which survey (online vs offline) we want to pull the questions from.
The online survey includes questions related to kids' online ecosystem (e.g. video games, characters, tv shows, films), while the offline one focuses on their hobbies, shopping behaviour, toys, and so on.
Let's profile the Harry Potter fanbase; we'll need questions from the online survey for that.
4. Select product (changing products - i.e. Kids Insights, Parents Insights, NextGen Insights - will bring up a blank dashboard).
5. Adjust filters
6. Select question group and individual question.
Since we're interested in the Harry Potter fanbase, we'll select "CHARACTERS" as the question group and "What is your favourite character?".
(!) When adding questions, you can use titles to organize them by topic. For example, group all purchase behaviour questions under one title, device usage questions under another, and so on. This keeps your questions organized and easy to find!
In the example below, we created a section titled 'Media habits' and added questions related to tv platform preferences, device usage, and frequency.
7. And now, by clicking on the Harry Potter bar in the "Which of these characters do you like?" chart, we can single out Harry Potter fans and see how they responded to the other questions in our dashboard!
The coloured bars show what Harry Potter fans selected, whilst the grey bars show the average for all respondents. When the coloured bar is higher than the grey bar, it means Harry Potter fans are more likely to choose that answer than average - and vice versa.
Notice how they spend more time than average watching Netflix, using their tablet to watch YouTube and read, and using their tablet for one to two hours on weekdays.
To see the exact percentage difference between Harry Potter fans and the average respondent, simply hover over any bar.
CUSTOM DASHBOARDS let you combine questions from different groups, so you can quickly profile your entire audience with one click on a single page!
